Individual Ranking
AliciaDestiny from Ohio, USA wins the season and also lands on #1 for both factions, GDI and Nod. Her October was great in other ways, too -- she won 2 of the 3 tournaments on the "super tournament weekend".
Alicia's #1 on Nod is shared with Suzaku from the Netherlands, who made a comeback this season after playing very little for a couple of months.
Twitch Streamer Nukin landed on #3, and his late-season switch from "Church of the APC" (part of the Terminus Shores alliance) to Hellz Ascendance is a great hook to switch to the alliance rankings. Why did Nukin switch his alliance? Rumor has it that Terminus' boss 13lade was fed up with a personal feud in his alliance between Nukin and 4th-placed Anas and asked that one of the two leaves. The drama!
Alliance Ranking
This season saw a close battle between Church of the APC (Terminus Shores) and Hellz Ascendance for the #1 spot in the alliance ranking. Of course, neither side actually wanted to become #1 and alliance mergers / shifting around players between alliances just happened accidentally ;)
This is how the Top 20 looked just 2 hours before the end of the season:
I asked some players for their take on the October season:
- AliciaDestiny, Hellz Ascendance: "I'm glad Hellz Ascendance got Nukin. It was a good acquisition. He is undoubtedly the best player in Terminus. He is so awesome, handsome and good looking."
- 13lade, Terminus Shores: "We would've easily had enough medals in a reasonable time frame but swapping in two players twenty seconds before reset wasn't something we chose to play around."
- AgentShadow, Terminus Shores. "We dodged rank #2!" -- Note from the Editor: This quote is two hours before the end; guess the Agent didn't foresee that move
- Suzaku, Terminus Shores: "Stop the alliance drama!"
- CrazyPsychopath aka Praetor Pyro: "We won! :D Eat a dick, [name censored]!"
Discord links to some of the top alliances -- new players are welcome in all of them!

Outlook on November
What will the November season bring? Can AliciaDestiny defend the #1 ladder spot? Will BIKERUSHOWNZ compete high up there again besides casting a $1,000 tournament? Will Hellz Ascendance get the Alliance crown again, or can Terminus Shores take it back? Will Nukin and Anas reconcile?
The biggest day in November for Rivals will be on November 10. See the trailer for the big event coming up:
post scriptum: I took most screenshots two hours before the end of the season. Maybe something slightly changed afterwards. Harass me on Reddit if I got something wrong! And if you got riled up by this post, maybe the totally subjective article on the best Rivals players in each country are right up your alley, too!
